I LOVE it...and guess who that shadowy boy on the cover is ???
Only my very favorite character in book one, The Raven Boys: RONAN.
He's described as jagged, sharp and the most "raven" of all the boys.
And who can forget that SHOCKING REVELATION involving Ronan at the end of book one?
I swear, Maggie Stiefvater and I are doing the Vulcan mind-meld or something
because I SO wanted more Ronan in the next book and Voilá!

Maggie's one of my favorite authors, too! I don't know about the cover, though :( I think it's OK, but I liked the first one more. Thanks for sharing, though! I need to read the first one asap, it's been sitting on my shelf forever.

Of the two I probably prefer the first one as well (love all the black) but because it's RONAN on the cover, and because it ties in with the last book's, and just because it's MAGGIE STIEFVATER, I still love this one SO much:)

Dani, I think you will love this series! The Raven Boys does have the feel of a 1st in series book, setting up the story, but oh, the characters! Stiefvater is the QUEEN of the multi-layered, three dimensional character:)

A THOUSAND TIMES YES! ;) I am SO EXCITED for this! I love the cover, I desperately need more Ronan, and I miss Gansey and Blue like a lost limb. Plus, I need ANSWERS and really, the covers are just spectacular for these books! Gorgeous, eye-catching, and eerie all at once. Wonderful pick, Heather! :D
