Take a Peek at What I'll Be Reading, Sunday Post

Sunday Post is a weekly feature hosted
by Kimba the Caffeinated Reader
:)

Morning! Well it's day three of Deluna Fest for me and my butt is DRAGGING. Getting ready to head back out but I wanted to do a quick Sunday Post. With all my recent blog issues it has been a while since I posted. So my stash this week looks really large, but that's because I've got the last 3 weeks crammed into one:)

Ordinary Ghosts by Eireann Corrigan  - I recently read The Believing Game by this author and LOVED it. (You can read my Goodreads review HERE) This book came courtesy of Paperback Swap.

What Happens Next  by Colleen Clayton - I have already read this ARC and it was SO good. Review to come. Thanks Southern Book Bloggers ARC Tours!

Personal Effects by E.M. Kokie - Starting this next. Thanks DAC ARC Tours!

The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith -Thank you to my local library for stocking this one!

The Diviners  by Libba Bray - I'm reading this book right now and it is AMAZING. Totally see why it was optioned for a film. I think this one is going to win some awards, Bray's writing and intricate plot is BRILLIANT. Thanks Southern Book Bloggers ARC Tours!

Maggie Stiefvater is seriously talented...
The Raven Boys  by Maggie Stiefvater - SQUEE!!  I actually got an eARC of this book from NetGalley a couple of months back but it's Maggie, so I needed a pretty hard copy!  I preordered through Fountain Book Store and got a signed copy with an awesome raven doodle and original artwork courtesy of Maggie! How freaking awesome is this?? Look for my review of The Raven Boys this week:)

I also got some great ebooks.

From Edleweiss I received a copy of Incarnation by Emma Cornwall. Thank you Gallery books!

I had a gift card to Amazon and snapped up some titles I have been wanting to read:

The Crown of Embers  by Rae Carson

I can't wait to read this. Can't. Wait!

Lament by Maggie Stiefvater
Undercover by Beth Kephart
Masque of the Red Death  by Bethany Griffin

Brightest Kind of Darkness by P.T. Michelle

Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi

Lots of great Kindle deals this month = lots of cool books for me:)

So what with my custom domain issues you might have missed some of this week's posts. Here is a recap:

Next week look for my reviews of Catching Jordan and Stealing Parker by Miranda Kenneally, The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater and the final week of the Cornerstone Readalong with my questions on the final chapters of the book!

I'm going to be gone most of the day but I PROMISE to go check out everyone's mailbox and Sunday posts this week, so link me up in the comments section! Have a great Sunday!

  7. I love Maggie's doodles so much! I love that you got one of them, totally worth the effort. Excited to see your thoughts on The Brightest Kind of Darkness too! Asheley had such lovely things to say about it a while back. I hope you had a blast this weekend--though I'm sure you're exhausted. And glad the blog's back in action!

  13. I DIDN'T GET A RAVEN DOODLE IN MY BOOK :(((((((( Although Maggie did sign it in front of me. I'm totally going to get me one of these for book 2. I'm hoping to review it this week as well. I'm really interested to hear how you like Lament. I heard an unconfirmed rumor of a "love triangle" in that series. But I don't know much about it at all - and sometimes people use that term when they don't mean it. Under the Never Sky and The Brightest Kind of Darkness are both good (and have long titles). I haven't read The Girl of Fire and Thorns, but have heard such good things about it and I want to read it and Crown of Embers.

Confession: I won an arc of Masque of the Red Death from Goodreads. THE ONLY ONE I've ever won. And I just haven't been able to bring myself to read it, mostly because the back is all about the love triangle. When it's highlighted that much in the copy, I get freaked out. Also I've heard it has a cliffy, so I'm going to wait and get a feeler for the rest of the series. But I feel BAD because I'm supposed to have read and reviewed the book b/c I got the arc. (Don't tell Goodreads - I've stopped entering the contests for books i don't think I'll read).

When do you think Quintana will come? Does it take a while to ship from Fishpond?
