Take a Peek at What I'll Be Reading (2)

**Disclaimer**

I am no longer participating in and have no future plans to participate in any  "Mailbox" features and meme's,  instead I plan to post the books I receive over the course of the week (s) in a little post entitled "Take a Peek" "Sneak a Peek" or some such nonsense. The idea to post a recap of the week's book haul is not an original one and I do not claim it to be mine. From what I can surmise, the idea was originated by Pop Culture Junkie and then elaborated on by The Story Siren. There are also numerous book haul videos posted on You Tube. I just wanted to give credit where credit is due. Thanks!

Hey everybody! I had another great week and my reading list grows ever longer...

Here's my haul for the week:

From the very sweet Lauren at Epilogue Review I received Clarity by Kim Harrington. I recently received an ARC of Perception, so I needed to read the first book in this series. Lauren graciously loaned me her copy. Thanks chica!!

From Paperback Swap I received The Familiars by Adam Jay Epstein and Andrew Jacobson. This is a middle grade book I got to read along with my older son. It was published in 2010 and has a sequel. Anyone read this one yet? What did you think?

From NetGalley I was approved for and received several awesome titles. I have been wanting to read Code Name Verity by Elizabeth Wein for a while so this one was an awesome haul:) Thanks to Hyperion Books for Children!

Also from NetGalley Beyond by Graham McNamee. Thank you Random House Children's Books!

Wilde's Fire by Krystal Wade. Thank you to Quills Curiosity Press!

What I Didn't Say by Keary Taylor. Thanks Keary!
And I also purchased some ebooks for my Kindle.

Touch of Frost by Jennifer Estep

Jenny Pox by J.L. Bryan

Camille by Tess Oliver

For my son I bought Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins. I have already read the trilogy but my oldest son is plowing through them now. It's been really cool reliving the excitement through his eyes:)

** Update: I TOTALLY forgot to add these last two books to my list yesterday...I don't know where my mind is sometimes...
Insurgent by Veronica Roth (squee....:))

The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa (double squee...:))

It's been a another great week, and I have LOTS of reading to do! Drop me a line and let me know how your week went:)

    1. I remember your interview with Elizabeth Wein a few months back. I loved hearing about the people she knew that influenced her writing of Code Name Verity!

  4. I'm going to be reading some of these as well! I bought Clarity a few months ago. My paperback copy is TINY- I didn't realize it'd be so small. Going to have to get to it soon.

    Happy reading!

    1. My copy is slim too, but that's a good thing since my TBR pile is starting to get out of control! I have the sequel and it's not very thick either. Sometimes it's nice to have a quick read:)
