In My Mailbox (13)

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren.

Hello all! Here's a peek inside my mailbox for the past week:

Won:

Ditched: A Love Story by Robin Mellom from Lisa at Bad Ass Bookie and look! It was tied up in a very pretty hot pink ribbon (which is SWEET because I like to use ribbons as bookmarks) and came with some cool swag (three bookmarks) AND was signed and dedicated by Ms. Robin Mellom herself:) Thank you so much Lisa and Robin. Receiving this in the mail made my day and I can't wait to read it!

Anna Dressed in Blood by Kendare Blake. Woo Hoo! I've been waiting to read this for months now:) And the cover is even more striking in person PLUS the text is colored the most delicious shade of RED:)

From my ever rockin' local library:

Leviathan by Scott Westerfeld- Steampunk, Yeesss.... My library has carried the second book in this trilogy, Behemoth, forever but never the first. So I was thrilled when I discovered they had recently purchased not only Leviathan but the final book in the trilogy, Goliath, as well. I can't wait to read the complete series:)

Getting the Girl by Markus Zusak- Never heard of this one but it's Markus Zusak! He wrote The Book Thief and I Am the Messenger (and a few other's I haven't yet read.) He's AUSSIE. You know how I love those Aussie YA author's people:)

The Thief by Megan Whalen Turner- This will be my first book by Megan Whalen Turner. I know, I know...have I been living under a rock or something? Everyone LOVES Megan Whalen Turner. Can't wait to check it out and see what the fuss is about:)

Look at all the awesome YA diversity! Two contemporaries (AND an Aussie at that!), a steampunk, a paranormal, and a fantasy!

Look! At All! Those! Exclamation! Points! (Sorry, in that kind of mood today:)

That's all for me? Which book(s) have you read? Which one should I start next? Leave me a comment below!

    1. My library is so teeny tiny, it usually takes a while to get new releases in, but whomever orders for the YA sections rocks:)

    5. I'm on the last 20 pages, finishing it as soon as I get the boys to bed. It's a loooong book, but at the same time I don't want it to end! I think I am going to have to order Quintana of Charyn from Fishpond when it releases in Australia this fall! Have you read Froi yet Lauren?
